The Worth County Board of Supervisors met pursuant to adjournment with all members present.

Motion by Haugen, second by Abrams, carried to approve the January 31, 2011 board minutes.

Motion by Abrams, second by Haugen, carried to approve the claim to Northwoods State Bank-pymt/eng-$107,764.82.

Motion by Abrams, second by Haugen, carried to approve the sheriff’s monthly report.

Motion by Haugen, second by Abrams, carried to approve the contract with Mediacom for high-speed internet at $249.95/month plus a $99.95 installation fee.

Motion by Abrams, second by Haugen, carried to approve the letter of acceptance for the $3,000,000 Rail Port Grant.

Motion by Haugen, second by Abrams, carried to approve the pre-award expense request letter for the Rail Port Grant.

Motion by Abrams, second by Haugen, carried to recess the regular meeting at 11:05 a.m. for the assessor’s budget hearing

Motion by Haugen, second by Abrams, carried to reconvene the regular meeting at 11:08 a.m.

The board canvassed the Central Springs Community Schools Special Election.

The meeting adjourned until 9:00 A.M., February 14, 2011.
