June 6, 2011 Twenty-Third Day

The Worth County Board of Supervisors met pursuant to adjournment with all members present.

Motion by Abrams, second by Haugen, carried to approve the May 31, 2011 board minutes.

Motion by Abrams, second by Haugen, carried to approve the claims to Cedar Valley Corp.-roads/eng-$265,957.03.

Motion by Haugen, second by Abrams, carried to approve the sheriff’s monthly report.

Motion by Haugen, second by Abrams, carried to appoint Jerry Hopperstad as Worth County delegate to North Iowa Regional Housing Authority.

Motion by Haugen, second by Abrams, carried to approve the abatement of taxes only in the amount of $454.00 on Part of NW SW 22-98-20 Parcel “A”, Manly, IA in the name of City of Manly.

Motion by Abrams, second by Haugen, carried to approve a 2011disallowance for homestead exemption.

Motion by Abrams, second by Haugen, carried to approve the transfer of $1,500.00 from the Health Insurance Fund to the Flex Benefits Fund.

Motion by Haugen, second by Abrams, carried to approve the Agreement between Worth County, Iowa (Sheriff’s Office) and International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 234.

Motion by Abrams, second by Haugen, carried to appoint Shirley Carlson to the Joice Library Board.

Motion by Abrams, second by Haugen, carried to approve the Nationwide Additional Products and Services Plan Sponsor Authorization Agreement and Roth 457(b) Amendment.
