February 4, 2008 Sixth Day

The Worth County Board of Supervisors met pursuant to adjournment with all members present.

Motion by May, second by Bang, carried to add two items to the agenda. Resolution No. Manly EZ-02-04-08 approving the request to the Iowa Department of Economic Development for certification of an enterprise zone move in Worth County. Contract and bid bond between Cunningham-Reis Co. of Van Meter, IA and Worth County, IA for projects BHS-CO98(37)--63-98 and BHS-CO98(38)--63-98 in the amount of $96,320.00.

Motion by May, second by Bang, carried to approve the January 28, 2008 board minutes and the amended agenda.

Motion by Bang, second by May, carried to approve the contract and bid bond between Cunningham-Reis Co. of Van Meter, IA and Worth County, IA for projects BHS-CO98(37)--63-98 and BHS-CO98(38)--63-98 in the amount of $96,320.00.

Motion by May, second by Bang, carried to approve the quit claim deed to Tom Capranos for real estate in Lot 6 and the N ½ of Lot 7 in Block 1 in McKercher’s Subdivision of Northwood, Worth County, Iowa.

Motion by Bang, second by May, carried to approve Resolution No. Manly EZ-02-04-08 approving the request to the Iowa Department of Economic Development for certification of an enterprise zone move in Worth County.

Motion by May, second by Bang, carried to approve the abatement of taxes only for the amount of $142.00 on 1968 MLE mobile home SLLM in the name of Dale Leegaard and $59.00 on 1970 CAMB mobile home MRNC in the name of Jean Varner.

Motion by Bang, second by May, carried to approve the 2008 County Weed Commissioner Certification Form.
