MITCHELL & WORTH COUNTY JOINT BOARD MINUTES

June 30, 2008

The Mitchell County and Worth County Boards of Supervisors met at 12:00 p.m. at the Carpenter Bar and Grill, Carpenter, IA. Present were Supervisors: Bob Marreel, Joel Voaklander, Stan Walk, Darrell Bang, Jeff Creger and Dennis May. Also present were Auditors: Kay Clark and Lowell Tesch and County Engineer Jim Hyde. Motion by Walk, second by Marreel to approve the agenda. All voted aye.

Discussed the County Engineer’s FY 09 employment contract for both counties. Motion by May, second by Creger to approve a four and one-half percent increase for the Engineer’s salary effective July 1, 2008 and running thru June 30, 2009. Total salary will be $78,375.00 with each county paying half this amount. Roll call vote: All voted aye. Also discussed equipment and the Engineer’s vehicle. Motion by Creger, second by Marreel to adjourn at 12:30 p.m. All voted aye.
