The Worth County Board of Supervisors met pursuant to adjournment with all members present.
Motion by Haugen, second by Creger, carried to approve the February 23, 2009 board minutes.
Motion by Creger, second by Haugen, carried to approve the payroll eligibility verification for Jerry L. Parmley at $10.58/hr. submitted by the Veteran’s Affairs Commission.
Motion by Haugen, second by Creger, carried to approve the Class C Liquor License for Northwood Country Club.
Motion by Creger, second by Haugen, carried to approve the letter of support for Progressive Ag Co-op’s request to IDOT to also have a turning lane for traffic from the north (left hand turn) onto 370th Street from Hwy. 65.
Motion by Creger, second by Haugen, carried to approve the salary change for James Boyden to $43,097.60 and Margie Butler to $14.66/hr.
Motion by Haugen, second by Creger, carried to recess the regular board meeting.
Motion by Creger, second by Haugen, carried to open the public hearing for the Fiscal Year 2009/2010 Worth County Budget at 10:00 A.M. Public comment was heard.
Motion by Creger, second by Haugen, carried to close the public hearing at 10:45 A.M.
Motion by Haugen, second by Creger, carried to reconvene the regular board meeting.
Motion by Creger, second by Haugen, carried to adopt the Fiscal Year 2009/2010 Worth County Budget.
The board canvassed and certified the February 24, 2009 Manly City Special Election.
Motion by Haugen, second by Creger, carried to approve the WHW County Social Services Management Amended Plan.
Motion by Haugen to renew the county’s early retirement incentive program for FY09/10. No second. Haugen withdrew the motion. The board directed Jeff Greve to rewrite the policy for FY09/10.
The meeting adjourned until 9:00 A.M., March 9, 2009.
