October 19, 2009 Forty- Second Day

The Worth County Board of Supervisors met pursuant to adjournment with all members present.

Motion by Haugen, second by Creger, carried to approve the October 12, 2009 board minutes.

Motion by Haugen, second by Creger, carried to approve the amendment to detour agreement to provide for commercial route to Manly Terminal.

Motion by Creger, second by Haugen, carried to approve the claim to Cedar Valley Corporation, roads/eng-$118,560.92.

Motion by Creger, second by Haugen, carried to approve the clerk of court monthly report and recorder’s quarterly report.

Motion by Haugen, second by Creger, carried to go into closed session at 10:02 a.m. for the purpose of discussing strategy with counsel in matters where litigation is imminent, Iowa Code 21.5(c).

Motion by Creger, second by Haugen, carried to reconvene the regular board meeting at 10:35 a.m.

Consultation session was held with taxing entities on amending Worth County UR-2 Economic Development District.

The meeting adjourned until 9:00 A.M., October 26, 2009.
