The trip will leave Northwood at
8 a.m. on February 24th and return late afternoon. The cost of the trip is $15 which covers the
admission to the eagle center and transportation. Lunch will be at your expense. Trip is open to adults of any age.

Mountain Lions
Another deer hunting season has
come and gone and again, nobody locally has shot any Mountain lions.
Seems like we
have had a long spell between documented cases of mountain lions in
There was a bit of speculation that some tracks seen in
The Mountain Lion will have three “lobes” at the bottom of the foot pad
(indicated by “C” in the picture), and typically no claws showing up. A dog track (shown as an actual track in the
dirt) can typically have an X drawn across the track without hitting the toes or pad.
