Fish Two classes involving fish were front and center last month. The ecology class in Northwood took a look at fisheries management. The DNR brought their sampling equipment out to Worth County Lake and showed the class how it’s done. A couple lucky students even were able to ride the boat and net the fish.

On the second front, learning about commercial fishing were the North Central 4th graders. So, with the help of a lucky lobster, we talked about commercial fishing, and even let the kids sample the product. Most found it delicious.
