Rearing Pond at Willow Creek produced a few northern Fry.
Sime moved to accept the naturalist’s report. Second by Smith. Motion carried.
There was a short discussion on the issues the CCDA planned to present to the ISAC legislative committee and how the new process would work.
The Director talked about some items that may require some rule changes. They were: trampolines in the park, sun shades/tents, loud music (need a decibel rating?), and fire wood when the ban is in place do to EAB. The board recommended that we watch these issues this summer and see how much of a problem we have.
There was discussion on a possible location for a new office and shop. The Director was asked to talk with the owner and the supervisors.
After reporting on the last inspection by the workers comp insurance, the Director was asked to place approval of the policies that are ready on the agenda for the next meeting.
The Director was instructed to purchase a spot on “Talk of the Town” when they are in Northwood and have Block talk about the adult programs.
Anyone interested in attending the Dist 2 meeting will call the office.
